Daniel Boud is a Sydney-based photographer specialising in arts and culture as well as commercial campaigns. Known for his sophisticated, emotive use of lighting and striking portraiture, he has been a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize and the Head On Portrait Prize.

Daniel’s extensive portfolio of local and international talent includes musicians, actors, dancers, drag queens, athletes, chefs, artists and more. It spans everyone from Nick Kyrgios to Cate Blanchett, Ai Wei Wei and Kevin Parker. His photos have appeared on magazine covers and editorials, book covers, album covers and on movie posters.

For ten years Daniel was Time Out Sydney’s Chief Photographer, which taught him invaluable skills of quickly building rapport with photo subjects, communicating well with clients, problem solving on the fly, and a deep understanding of what makes a successful media image.

Daniel brings a unique artistic approach to commercial advertising and has photographed successful campaigns for a host of companies including Samsung, Lynx, Foxtel, Acer and Airbnb.
