Daniel Boud is a portrait photographer based in Sydney, Australia, specialising in editorial, publicity and commercial portraiture. His subjects range from international names - Robin Williams, Cate Blanchett, Elizabeth Debicki, John Boyega, Ai Weiwei, Ice Cube, Wu-Tang Clan, Kevin Parker of Tame Impala - to actors, dancers, musicians, athletes, chefs, authors and artists across Australia and beyond.

His portrait work has appeared on the covers of Rolling Stone, Q, Kerrang! and The Sunday Times Magazine, and is commissioned by publications including The New York Times, The Guardian and The Sydney Morning Herald, alongside publicity and campaign portraiture for Sydney Opera House, Sydney Theatre Company, Belvoir St Theatre, Opera Australia, Bangarra Dance Theatre and The Australian Ballet.

Daniel is known for sophisticated, emotive lighting and an ability to put any subject at ease quickly - a skill honed over a decade as Time Out Sydney's Chief Photographer, where tight schedules and famous faces were the daily brief. He has been a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize and the Head On Portrait Prize.
